The Palladia Series is a saga of YA action-adventure novels set in the future civilization of Palladia, a country that exists 300 years from now. The trilogy focuses on Palladians even if their situations take them far from home in the course of the story, and the center of Palladia's society is the city-state of Wyncon to which we are introduced in book #1. The first two installments are available and a third book (Celestine Princess) will be coming summer of 2021. A fourth installment (Carthosene) is currently being written.

City of the Invaders: It’s the 24th century and the world is divided into numberless disorganized little kingdoms that sprang out of past societal collapse. These countries are about as hard to navigate as a maze since their unstable ruling structure is mostly composed of gangs and confusing mafia politics. Throw in a lingering memory of the old world, that hovers on this culture like a ghost, and you’ve got the EC—few and rare, the preservers of a past nobody particularly said they wanted to remember. Strife generations ago has left the EC regulated, forbidden to carry weapons in cities, and set to live in their own special communities. For Katia Fierten, an EC girl who grew up outside city jurisdiction, knowing how to use weapons doesn’t mean she wants to use them. But when her family has to move to the Palladian city-state of Wyncon, her brother immediately gets a discarded piece of robotic technology that has files on it leading straight back to a plot in the city government. The more trouble Frank’s robotic dog gets them into, the more Katia finds herself with quite a bit more adventure on her hands than she’d reckoned on when she moved to Wyncon.

Consuela: After Frank and Katia confront the Dragonak of their city, the EC in other countries must deal with a group of Invaders called the technical class who plan to oust the few remaining preservers of an old, eroded culture. The EC in Wyncon enjoys unusual protection, but such is not the case anywhere else. When four Palladian EC women visit neighboring Belaria to do some charitable work, they rope Invader Consuela Dirkua into coming along. Not exactly her idea, either. For her, the EC is irrelevant, and looking out for Number One is her primary goal. But she finds working as a translator for Miss Plummer’s crew of incompetent travelers, who seem to make a mistake every time they move, has turned her into quite the guide. Especially when there’s a plan to frame her new friends and it’s up to Consuela to figure out what to do about it. If there’s one person who never asked to be a heroine or to stand up for others, it was this Invader girl--but whether she likes it or not, her involvement with the EC is only beginning.
