I'm so excited! Finally . . . Victoria: A Tale of Spain has a new cover to complement its makeover. I've worked through and touched up numerous covers for my books over the past year, but only Consuela got a completely "new" cover from the one it was released with initially, so this is a big thing that means Victoria is being re-released. I'm so grateful to my cover designer for helping me through the last year with multiple projects!
And I am pleased to announce that City of the Invaders has had an overhaul of the cover too. Although it still uses the same type of design as the first cover, the lovely new cover produced by my designer really wows me and helps to bring out the quality of this exciting futuristic adventure better than before. Consuela also got a mild tweak so the fonts line up and now both books will be released on multiple platforms. So excited!
And there will be more updates.

When I set about defining my books, I wanted them to be positive places where a gentleness emanated from the pages. A hopeful safety lies in gentleness and there's also an honesty to it. A whirlwind of pushy book blurbs and hot characters (or whatever type character the author wants you to admire) can conceal a reality underneath. A quiet--possibly even lurking--reality that's more visible if you dial down the volume. That lurking reality isn't necessarily bad, but like anything quiet, it gets drowned out by conflict and angst. Peaceful fiction can help explore the truth that noisy books ignore.
