Welcome. As long as I can remember, I've been making stuff up. I created storyboards before I could read or write and after I learned to do both of those things I scribbled incessantly as a teenager while making movies in my head. Today I balance a busy blend of my work as an advertising support analyst, my work as a tutor for my homeschooling family, and my work turning my love of fantasy into publications.
I've been publishing for years now. Over the past 3 or 4, I've dabbled in historical and sci-fi, but never strayed very far from fantasy. A couple of my self-published fantasy books and a historical are still floating around on Amazon under the name Sarah Scheele. The children's book was started when I was a child, so it differs from most children's fantasy work.
About a year ago, I discovered Chantrel by accident. I was listening to a piece of music in my MP3 player (yes, I call it that because I don't own an iPod) and a short story emerged out of nowhere. It was unlike anything I'd ever written and the world has been quietly grabbing me since and won't let go. Though I've always drifted from separate story to separate story in my fantasy, increasingly I view myself as the writer of the Chantrel stories. I hope in the future you'll think so too.
